life-confessions:

As I type this to anyone who feels like reading, this little boy above is dying from cancer. In this very moment, he is taking some of his last breaths. He’s saying goodbye to the last day he’ll ever get to experience in his short life. A life that ended before it really even got to begin.

“Paxton, now three years old, was a typical, fun-loving 2 year old when he was first diagnosed with Medulloblastoma in December 2010. Paxton’s family, in disbelief, held his hand with faith and hope as he began the journey of his fight with cancer. Since then, his older brother, Braydon, and his younger sister, Lia, have loved, hugged and cheered Paxton on through every step of his battle. He has fought hard, he has been brave, and he has beaten the odds on several occasions. Paxton has become our little hero. Paxton is an example of the courage, perseverance, strength, grace, faith, and meaning that is possible in this life.”

I’m seriously crying my heart out right now for this boy and his family. Who am I, so selfish at times, to wish life to be taken away from me over a bad day? Who am I, so weak in moments, that I lay in bed and let the days of my life pass me by? I take for granted the biggest gift this little boy never had a chance at: life.

I found out about Paxton through his aunt, who so happens to be my friend. Every so often on facebook, she would update us with pictures and statuses to let people know how he was doing. It was almost as if we were fighting with him: strangers, family, anyone who’s heart was touched by his story. Please just take a moment of your time and ask for a painless and peaceful death for this little fighter of a boy. He deserves it.

As of today, 10/10/2011, this was her last update:

“From his mom:

Paxton’s miracle is coming… he will soon be in the arms of our Lord Jesus, healed to perfection. We have told him that his fight is over… go to Jesus. Heaven is way better than Disney World.”

foreverinlovewithonedirection:

When you speak to other members of the 1D family…

When a member says they love their fans…

When you heard WMYB for the first time…

When you hear WMYB now…

When one of the boys mentions that they are single…

When you see Harrys sexual tweets…

When someone says they don’t like 1D…

When you hear something funny that a member has said…
